I would like to make a throne like the one in the picture attached. I would like to make it so that it slots together and can be disassembled for travel. Does anyone have any advice for me on which type of joints I could use to make it retain as much structural integrity as possible, and of course to make it look good.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ahhh Medieval Furniture by IKEA
Comes in a flat pack and with a special tool that you promptly lose.
NB: Don't go and search for it I'm taking the piss.

I would suggest making it in a similar way a Medieval Slat bet is put together with wedge pegs, however if it is to look like the one in the picture that may something of a tall order. But let me think on it and do some research and see if I can come up with a design for you.
