On the NZSEMA board I have posted Paul Wagner's collation of combat in the Viking Sagas.

This may be of interest to some of you interested in the Viking period. Be warned, however, as the combat described might not fit into your definition of the "real world".

At some point I may collate all the pictures I have of Viking combat as depicted by themselves and by their enemies. Again it might deeply challenge your definition of the "real world" so I'd advice missing that whenever I bother to do such an exercise. Of course you could read SPADA I and II. Some of the images in them were supplied by me Cool
