Im pulling together a joust on the weekend of September 11th 12th (weather permitting)
The grounds are 5 mins away from my place near Pukekohe on a friends private farm .
As this is going to be a none public paying event .Any body that would like to attend //you`l hafto get your horse/yourself there on your own steam .Self catering .But i will have a barbecue available for use .
Camping on grounds And horses behind hot tape .Bring hay ! or feed .

We intend to have a light armour /squires joust .
A done that got the postcard joust for the old hats .
At this planning stage ,Id like to set a fun hunt course for none armored riders and those that are to pussy to joust.
I`ll supply the Balsa .
We`ll use the usual Taupo style joust rules .
Even if your not a rider /jouster but your into this stuff ,you are welcome .This includes anybody that likes working in the List .
I have a couple of Aussies coming over to play .So we should make the effort to make this as fun as possibly. As they dont really have much fun in Australia Wink
The whole concept of this joust is to have a laugh and not take it to serious.
So ,if your a beginner and you can handle a lance /ride safely and your gear is up to it (i will check gear and skills before anybody is allowed to joust ) come for the weekend and give it a go .

We have about 10 jousters so far Very Happy

Drop me an email if you are keen to come and would like some more info .

Great,
Richard will be there as long as he has
no farrier thing on. He may be able to get
one of our horses up there. Worth a try as
got a new one that has some potential.
