OK ,so is there any ammo that slingers could use in combat at Taupo?
I have been reading about the SCA using Duct tape covered tennis balls with slits in so they don't bounce so much. Could this be a possibility?
Would be easier to make the the rice filled hackies mentioned before.

The SCA version sounds better. if only because they will not penetrate visors in any way.

Hi,
you are not alone! I am new to NZ bit i have done a lot slinging in Germany.
I would like to use the sling in reeanactment battle too. It seems that the archers got rivals.

Are you at the gathering in Palmerston North/Eastern? We could try different types of ammunition. I prefer Tennisballs for battle every .68 balls would be to light.

We could also go and try for the world record!

Greetings, Hagor, Hawkes bay
