Hi there,
we have discovered a bow maker in NZ.
He is from Gisborne area and does some really nice horn knocked bows. pics attached of some of his work.
Feel free to ask for quotes and we will get him in contact with you.
thanks

ooh, they look really nice Id be interested in a 68 inch 30 pound English longbow. If you could get me a quote on that and how much it would be to ship, that'd be awesome. Also, do they have a site i could take a look at?

There is also this guy of Trademe, King of Swords had one of his bows at NAAMA and they look really nice, if I was into Longbow's I would be quite happy to get one of his. Alas the bow I really want is going to cost me $345 EU plus shipping (eventually anyway)

I agree with what Nigel said about the bow, they are a good starting point and it depends on how much you want or can spend. Those arrows that you looked at on NZAP would be fine for this bow, my issue would be the points, we've had those before and they are pretty blunt and don't stick in too well.

the funny blue tassel looking things? They are silencers for hunting.

Hi there,
These bows are a good starter - we have 3 people happily shooting these bows.
We have found these arrows too light (should be ok on a 30 pounder though) and the tips are kinda blunt - ok if you need some arrows straight away to get yourself started but I would reccommend some better ones if your budget extends that far (We have been buying arrow components off this site and making our own arrows)
