And I thought it only looked pretty on knives. Apparently I was wrong.

Hell I wanna make a axe outta a 3 pound ball pein hammer. Just crack me up panel beating kuniggits with that.

While being not as smart as some, I have trouble getting my gourd around the Stainless Damascus on the knife network site. The single image axe looks fast and the top one in the second image just looks trippy. Couldn't fight with or against it without wearing sunnies.

Me Wantie!

Hi All

I have come across a guy down here in Nelson who makes knives! And they're excellent quality and full tanged - I'm looking for the shape I want him to make for me.

Blackbird Valley Forge

He makes a lot of knives from old files, old suspensions springs and Damascus steel (which he gets from a supplier in Taupo - he didn't give me the name but I'm sure if you email him he may be tempted to share it!)

rossblade1@ts.co.nz

might be a good way of getting some bulk damascus steel for your own axe / seax / dagger etc!

Cheers

Boyd
