The major club in New Zealand in the NzLarp group, their website is www.diatribe.co.nz.

They used to have someone importing latex weapons, but thier source fell over so they no longer have access to pre-built weapons that having said, I do k now that they make thier own weapons, and to quite a professional level.

The Current president is a lass by the name of Anna Klein, I don't know her email off the top of my head, but she posts as Anna K on thier forum so I bet you could get more details and a better idea of the level of interest from her.

I hope my meagre knowledge is helpful.

I think that Ryan actually just changed supplier, he is still able to take orders I believe. The LARPing community in NZ is still very much in its infancy so the market is small.

if you make an announcement on Diatribe you may get some interest.

meep, sorry I thought his source had gone out of business and he was stopping, sorry I did not mean to cast spurious information.

A couple of our people, currently on an extended working holiday overseas have recently brought about 60 acres of land in the Wairarapa and both had extensive LARP experience - including both running LARP events and a business in the UK.

When they finally settle back here I understand that they will be setting up LARP events on their property. I for one am looking forward to giving this a go so I would be interested in whatever gear you may bring in.

Hi Bogue,

About this time next year when I last spoke to Mike (a few months ago) but rumour is they may be back in February at least for a holiday. They probably should as they brought the place on-line and haven't actually set foot on it yet!
