2nd generation. Slightly different process with a better shape I think. I like the shape better, and I decided to make the cut in the back a little off centre so the tongue would not pull on the join. I don't plan on welding these, so I'm playing with the setup a bit.

Question for the assembled Makers...

How do you finish the little crack at the join of the two ends of the loop? The only way I can describe the way the loop is behaving is that the two ends *bounce* off one another, never quite closing the gap. It's the conundrum, the gap always gets half-way closer to being closed, but never actually GETS there. It's less than a millimetre, and the nail would never pull through it, but I want it closed!

Advice?

hey just gently tap the other end.
should kinda squish the open end closed.
if it doesnt work try tapping towards the middle of the buckle
you may get a slightly waisted buckle but it would close and if you wanted to you could accentuate the waist
