Hi Guys
it has been a long and cold Winter here in the UK. Finally it is time for a bit of WMA action. Will be heading up to the Royal Armouries again for S.W.A.S.H. 2010.
Have a look here for details www.swash2010.com/
There is a more focused look to the program this year , mostly based around the 600th anniversary of Fiore de' Liberi.
I am particularly looking forward to the handling sessions with the armouries staff, an unparalleled opportunity to handle "the real thing"
I will post a few picture when I get back

BTW great job on the Taupo event.

Hi Guys
back from S.W.A.S.H 2010. Had a great time and really enjoyed the handling session, even got to touch the actual I 33 manuscipt. Sadly picked up a stomach bug and have been bed (and toilet)ridden since. I have a number of picture to post and will do so when I'm in a bit better shape.
None of this is helped by the fact I wrote off my motorcycle last Tuesday night and my mind is still a bit scrambled Sad

Hi Guys
this is a horrible place to live, but occasionally there are compensations.
I never in 100 years would have thought I might actually touch Manuscript I 33, not my favourite treatise but beautiful in its own right.
