I didn't see that one. It was at the International Living History Fair, held twice a year. The comp runs various shows through the year, that was the final in October.

I'm still waiting for a definitive answer on Shark skin, but in the meantime, anyone tried this?
Grind up Cuttlefish bone, add a little bit of water to make a paste, use it as a polishing compound ...

I've tried that over here. The local fishmonger keeps me few, when he's in the right mood!, but Shark is really difficult to get. It's relatively easy to cure, a friend of mine's in the skin business ...
