The option is not available - or at least we've turned it off as far as we know.

I know there are a few guest replies. To the best of my knowledge this is a glitch in the matrix and not a common occurrence. I don't think it's actually caused by an anonymous person posting - I think it's a registered user whose login information has somehow been corrupted at the moment they post their message and hence the system doesn't know who the post came from and labels it as 'guest'. There's probably nothing that can be done unfortunately.

I hope that helps clarify things Shocked I doubt Hadrian or anyone else would be able to exploit this bug to post anonymously.

Cheers,
Nigel

interesting because I wasn't log in this morning when I tried it and it did work (since deleted) but just tried it now and it wouldn't work. Must depend on how you hold your tongue and what way the wind is blowing! Very Happy

Actually, my mistake. There were two forums that were not configured correctly - NAAMA (the camp forum not the NAAMA & General Discussion forum) and the BC Camp forum. This would have allowed anonymous posting.

You were right. I'm hoping that when you tried it this morning you were posting to one of these? I've re-checked everything else and couldn't find any more anomalies. If you were posting somewhere else please let me know.

Cheers,
Nigel

Hi Lissa,

Oh dear, there are so many terrible terrible things you don't know about reenactment. I will tell you about Hadrian in private - there are children here and we wouldn't want to scare them.

That was a bit amusing... i was wondering if i could also here the saga of the rouges Nigel? perhaps over some nice hot tea on a cold winters day at a camp yet to be specified?

Carl: An infamous gallery of GD rouges could also be an interesting add on to this already fantastic website Smile

Oh the worms around here are free-range, they don't live in cans. It's all good, you just have to watch where you step sometimes.
