Moving Pictures

Hi Nigel
I don't know why but the moving gallery at the bottom of the opening page completely freezes my computer at work. Is there a way to turn it off ?

A work-around is to not go to the home page. I have http://www.gatheringdarkness.co.nz/forum/search.php?search_id=newposts
as my link to GD. With the major site subdivisions having links to them at the top of each page, you don't need the home page for anything.

You could also use http://www.gatheringdarkness.co.nz/forum/index.php

Yep, that's what I would suggest. Thanks Errol. I don't know of anyone else having the same issues, but thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind when we eventually rebuild the site with a new look (it will happen, just not anytime soon).

For what it is worth, I,m using the super secure Civil Service system here in the UK and it does do odd things with pictures

I probably should have stopped to ask if anyone actually likes the scrolling pictures on the front page? I do personally, but I'm not everyone.
